Rs. 1.35 crores were received on Saturday as well. This is far too little for a movie of this size and magnitude, and it is obvious that neither the movie received sufficient excitement before its release nor did it receive enough positive word of mouth to help donations increase everyday. Yes, Sunday is still coming, and one can only hope that more people will come out. However, the movie isn't going anywhere in the end because it has only made 2.35 crores rupees in total receipts.

Now that Vikram Vedha has failed, the focus is on how much money it can make while playing. In reality, the decision might have been made during the opening weekend itself because there wasn't much development on Saturday and Sunday following a weak start. Even so, Dussehra was approaching, so one hoped for a miracle. The last resort was the belief that because there wouldn't be any competition in the second weekend, the collections would remain consistent. This benefit came with the arrival of Rs. 3.94 crores on Saturday, bringing the total to Rs. 65.05 crores.

Meanwhile, PS-1 (Hindi) did well on Saturday with box office contribution being Rs. 1.50 crores. The good part is that it has again gone over the Rs. 1 crore mark, which is fair at least for a film which is playing a few screens and shows.
